Sorry dear blog land, I have not been very present these last few days. Every time I go to write, something else happens, and apparently, I lack the discipline to not get distracted! And all that Christmas prep, it started with a ridiculous amount of baking, and then I kept giving it away so had…
I have invented a completely new twist on the wise saying: “If you want to get something done, ask a busy person.” I am sure you have heard that expression, do we think it is a little self-serving…?
There is an uphill learning curve and education for me and all those other first-timers out there to get this self-publishing gig sorted out. But it is rather interesting, a bit daunting, but most of it doable.
But last week I got a short but polite note saying they would not be taking my novel any further.
Oh, dear publishing house of edits and hope, may you fall in love with my heroes and their adventures, may they seduce and entertain you.
